Twitter Launched a New “Follow” Button for Websites!

Just like the Facebook’s “Like” button, Twitter has launched its new feature the “Follow” button. This added feature is an easy button that will allow users to follow accounts directly from any website.
This button allows users to instantly follow a specific Twitter account without having to visit the site and search for the desired account. The new button joins the tweet button, which shares specific content with Twitter users' followers.
“For publishers and brands, adding the Follow button to your Web site and using Twitter to stay connected with your audience is a powerful combination," Twitter said in a statement announcing the new button. "People who follow your account are much more likely to retweet and engage with your tweets, and to repeatedly visit your Web site."
Twitter's Brian Ellin, in a blog post wrote that, "More than 50 sites have added the Follow Button today, making it easy for you to discover the Twitter accounts of your favorite reporters, athletes, celebrities, and other personalities. Using the Follow Button is as simple as a single click. You can also see the profile and latest Tweets of the account you want to follow by clicking the username next to the Button."
Including AOL.com, About.me, All Time Low, Justin Bieber, bnet.com, Britney Spears, CBS Interactive, CBS News, cbs.com, cbssports.com, chow.com, cnet.com, and CNNMoney, Twitter has been launching its “Follow” button in a number of different websites and individuals. Instead of receiving a feed of articles, as RSS does, the "follow" button allows users to quickly and easily sign up and follow specific Twitter users.
This development of Twitter will surely show a good result for their users to interact across the web.
