Search Engine Optimization: A Primary Objective During Website designing Process

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) should be considered compulsory while planning to design a brand new website or redesign an existing one.

SEO Expert David Peiris, in a Econsultancy's Digital Marketing Blog, said that a lot many companies include SEO as a second thought while designing a website, which is “worryingly common”.
According to Peiris, there are myriad reasons to consider SEO compulsory as a part of web designing process. He insists that it is specifically important to take into account while selecting Content Management System (CMS). Before writing content for a website, if proper keyword research has been done, that ensures their pages are written keeping SEO in mind, which likely to be more effective.
If proper SEO Guidelines are followed while designing a website, this enables to prevent unexpected issues in the later stage. Mr. Peiris comments, “If you're just thinking about SEO after your site is live, then your site structure can be one of the hardest things to change”.

Apart from this, enterprises can also utilize interesting link building techniques while designing their portals, such as creating company's own blog link in spite of posting content on other domains. This gives a better outcomes to the site.
At an another event of Technology for Marketing and Advertising, Patrick Altoft, Director of Search at Branded3, claimed that “SEO strategies can pay for themselves if done correctly.”
